I can't vote for immoral, perverted, criminal types who do not share my
interpretation of the Christian religion.

Therefore I can't vote for Republicans.

*I LOVE to say this to the face of every so called moral "Christian" Repuke Bush supporter and watch their faces get even uglier*

1. I totally blew a couple of them away
Edited on Sun Nov-21-04 06:10 PM by Moonbeam_Starlight
when I said I wouldn't vote for bush because I truly consider a vote for him and his policies to be immoral. They (two of them) literally were speechless for a few seconds. So I went on to explain that, as a Christian, I cannot possibly vote for someone who started a war on a people who did nothing to us and didn't threaten us, a war that has caused THOUSANDS of deaths, both for us and for them, and is causing untold (literally untold) human misery. Then I go on to call the war in Iraq what it really is--immmoral, illegal and unjust.

How could I vote to support the murder of another people?

They usually just made big scoffing noises or worked their jaw noiselessly or said "UH!" They had no defense.

2. I bring up Religan
That as a child I was told to be watchful for the beast who will come. Who will speak with a forked tongue and make all sorts of promises.

Unlike the Previous Presidents, Bush doesn't attend church accept on occasions. His family doesn't either. He is a drinker and paid for an abortion when it was illegal to even HAVE one. He is pro-choice when it SUITES HIM. But publicly speaks with a forked tounge. He treated women with distain, as objects not worthy of consideration. He doesn't concern himself with the conseqences of his actions. It matters not if others get hurt.

Even with all that, the Preachers are telling their people that Bush is God's man. Something scary about the whole thing. Bush's whole life shows that he isn't.

Something evil is going on and I don't want no part of it.
