A John Cleese story for Monday: unconfirmed, but great
Source: http://www.montypythonpages.com/index.html

"Was he any good as a teacher of geography? Probably not, but he got our attention. We had a lot of fun. I was summoned to see him in the master's common room once. He was filling in The Times crossword with utter loathing, just writing in any old letters at high speed. I said, "Sir, why are you doing that — it doesn't make any sense." He said, "No, it doesn't make any sense to you and me, boy, but it makes a lot of sense to the other masters who think I'm brilliant."
