4. Wait as long as you can
before sending it in. I've heard tales of people making it nearly to 26 without being noticed, then filing it the day before their 26th birthday so they still get government benefits.

Unfortunately for me, I had no choice in filing mine, it was filed for me :(

7. You have to file if your looking for financial aid for college now.
changes in the law to snare those who do not file.
