2. Randi was talking about this on her show this afternoon
She said that newspapers make retractions all of the time, and it's a shame that this is happening because he did a story that the shrub administration didn't like.

IN CHARGE OF NON-PROLIFERATION OF WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION....

only really special people like Bob Novakula and people in the WH are allowed to do it without repercussions... poor Dan. </sarcasm>

No, he was fired for his anti-bush stuff, he should have been fire immediately after his Bush National Guard story.
