Is it just me, or is anyone else out there married /hooked up with
someone who has the mentality of a teenager? My husband is off tonight (from his pizza delivery job!) and is blaring video games on the TV in the living room...Oh, and he sleeps more hours than he's awake, doesn't clean up after himself, the list goes on.

1. Then why are you still with this person?
You need to get him to be more productive with his life and not just for your sake.

I can't afford daycare for two kids AND pay the rent, lights, food, etc.

11. So you need him for financial reasons?
Come on, you could find someone better.

13. There's also the issue of two kids
One with ADHD and high functioning autism...sometimes has violent rages (yes, that's being worked on), but the kid is almost as big as I am, and I need help dealing with that.

23. You're in a tough situation
My boyfriend has custody of his nephew, who is autistic. Luckily, he's a mild-mannered kids who is just hyper active at times. So far, no violence.

I guess you have to do what you have to do and if this means keeping this man in your life then you have to deal with some of his flaws.

The best to you.

31. Also, my kiddo does not function well at daycare
Tried it before, much too unstructured. I've given this thought, and I'd have to find somebody to come to my house to sit my kiddos. Like I can afford this!

25. Call the local Bar Association
They'll help you find one you can afford.

There are payment schedules, plus he'll have to contribute to your legal fees. (That's HIS problem, by the way.)

It'll be financially cheaper for you in the long run, believe me.

if I get a chance, when the bosses aren't around. I tried once before, but didn't have any luck.

30. Oh yeah, and the constant
Screamed expletives every time he wrecks or messes up...those are lovely as well. Don't walk in fron of the tv, he's racing (when is he not??). Oh, when he's not, he's sleeping (on the couch, his choice). SHHHHH! Don't wake him up or he'll be grumpy!

17. LOL...
When we first met he had his own landscape business, and worked at a grocery store as a stocker during the slow season. Then, he was told that he was getting carpal tunnel from machine vibration, sold the lawn equipment, and it's pretty much been pizza delivery since (except for a brief time in construction)...Oh, and then there's the three unemployed and not giving a damn years!
