Your cats and dogs - are they male, female, or both?
I prefer female dogs, and have a female dog named Reba. They're better at bathroom habits. :-)

I say cats and dogs, but if you have other pets you want to include, go right ahead.

1. Two female dogs
They're much nicer and cleaner than a lot of the male doggies I've known.

10. They do tend to be more affectionate
Males tend to be more territorial, but I don't desire a guard dog. Hi LPFF! :hi:

4. Both
I have 1 male leopard gecko named Diablo, 1 female leopard gecko named Demona

Then I have my pride and joy, my kitties. I have 2 females (Lilo and Stitch) and 2 males (Koda and Kenai). Koda and Kenai are JUST like little boys. They always get into trouble and cheer each other on. Koda will behave himself if he's alone with the girls. But if Kenai comes along, they go into chase mode.

5. One formerly female cat. n/t
Past have been about equal numbers. The only one that survived adolescence intact was one of the female dogs (she was getting shown)

9. Mine were abandoned too. One was dumped in the cold winter
outside (with no front claws) and he had lost almost half his body weight. A kind volunteer saved him from death row at the county shelter. The other was taken to a shelter but had every minor disease associated with neglect a cat can have. They're both doing fine now.

It is astonishing how cruel people can be to poor little animals.

12. Poor kitties-I bet they're happy now
I can't believe someone would leave a defenseless creature to die in the cold. What are your kitties names and how old are they?

My boys were left in an apartment when the tenants moved out. They were obviously well-cared for indoor cats who were used to being around children and given a lot of affection (they're extremely friendly and trusting).

17. That occurs MUCH too often. Thank goodness you were there for them.
What do these people use for brains--and hearts? How can they sleep at night?

My boys are Otis and AC and they are both about 6 1/2. Otis (the formerly sick one) loves snuggling and visitors. AC is more of a one person cat and loves petting and being talked to (and even going outside, which he does only with me standing over him), but not being held.

7. Male cats. A friend said her female cats saw her as a giant can opener.
She thinks the boys are cuddlier. She and her hubby had 13 at the time I knew her--she was a volunteer for a shelter and took in the ones no one else wanted, plus she fostered many more.

I haven't had enough cats to disagree with her. All my foster kittens were friendly and cuddly except one little white one. All I know is that I prefer long haired kitties.

11. 4 cats, 3 dogs, 8 hens
and a partridge in a pear tree..(actually we did have a peacock in the tree once)

two female cats, one female dog, and the hens..we if you dont know they are female.

I like them all. I like the female dog the most. She is almost human in many ways. She likes to oversee everything. She gets involved in peace making, running inteference on any scuffles etc. Yesterday she was over-seeing us remove stitches from the cats elbow. He cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like a baby.. I nearly cried, and she was very concerned and decided she needed to make my hand stop that and put her paw on it and then looked at me like.. don't you dare hurt that baby again! HA!

I am the only person in the house that ALL the cats want to sit on.. ON MY CHEST while I am laying in bed. Not all at the same time, but I am the only one they do that to. My hubby says they like my boobs. LOL

13. My 3 Sons.....two chihuahuas and a big min pin...
Oldest, Toro, from a private sale; Tico, from the pound...very scared, has been under the desk the past two days because of the rain and thunder, but OK now; and Slicker, the min pin, who roamed for 8 months before I decided to try to rescue him....and kept him. He's the greatest guy!!

14. 1 dog, 2 cats.
The dog is part lab, part german shepard, and part great dane. His name is petey. Very laid back 8-year-old.

My two cats are harley and lyle, both girls, both pushing 14, at least. lyle is totally mellow, hang-around-your-neck mellow, long grey cat with green eyes. harley is a mean-spirited, snooty, psychotic calico.

They all get along great, except the males have a little rivalry, as they are both orange and spunky :spank:

18. one male, one female
big huge yorkies. we rescued each from internet sites. (so there were two 'internets' ha ha)

the boy smiles, watches tv, and takes a toy outside everytime he goes pottie. (we have to bring the toys back inside)

the girl won't kiss, likes to be held in your arms for hours, and thinks the carpet is as good a place as any to take a dump. i must say she has improved 95% in the last year.

they're both spoiled. as in heating pads when it's cold spoiled.

i'm grandma to a 4 month chihuahua, too.

the dogs are all democrats!

19. Two dogs one of each
my little girl took forever to train but my boy was easy. He went in the house once and just never makes a mistake. My other male dog who passed away three years ago was the same way. He's the one who 'taught' him so maybe that's why.
