BUMPUSES!!!!! TURKEY!!!!!
The heavenly aroma still hung heavy in the house, but it was gone, all gone! No turkey! No turkey sandwiches, no turkey salad, no turkey gravy, turkey hash, turkey a la king, or gallons of turkey soup! Gone, all gone!

It's in Cleveland now a high school with a lot added on to it. The pole Flick got his tongue stuck too is now part of a baseball cage

16. I Met Jean Shepherd Once
At a book signing in 1971 - I covered it for my high school radio station - WJSV-FM in Morristown, NJ. He was jus as warm and pleasant in person as he sounded narrating that movie, which was based on many of his short stories.

The world lost a lot when Jean Shepherd passed on....
