Anyone else have a tough time with the holidays? Hugs?
I have so much in my life to be thankful for and I try so hard to focus on that. But I get down and this year seems to be one of the harder ones. Lots of stresses this year and I find myself thinking more and more about my 17 year old son who I have almost no contact with, because he lives with his dad 3000 miles away and his dad is a jerk.

Not to go into any detail - I just need a hug or two... :cry:

7. Here's a hug
I am having a hard time this Thanksgiving. My family is in CA and I am in Maryland. I just bought a frozen pumpkin pie and a rotisserie chicken to share with my two puppies. Call me pathetic.

I hear ya! My family is 3000 miles away and once again I won't be able to be with them for the holidays. My local family of friends seems to be breaking up...and I'm having a hard time with my honey.

thing too. i think that applies to a lot of us, family far away-- and half of them are jerks!
it's a tough year indeed with this militaristic faux good will vibe going on. it ain't the holiday spirit we all know and love, is it?
i just got "laid off" by my repug boss and i'm due to PMS this weekend. Oh boy.
i figure i'm going to have to ask for some hugs soon too.
