I hate cleaning!

Grrr. We decided last minute to have Thanksgiving here and I feel like I'm cleaning left and right! The sad part is that the only people coming over are my cousin and his wife, who are artists. They don't care whether the windows are Windexed properly, or if the wooden tables have been Pledged!

1. Thanksgiving holiday is over rated

they expect the women of the house to cook for 2 days for 1 dinner and to clean it all up also.

Fuck that,next time go to KFC.

It's sad because I don't even eat meat. Yet, I'm doing all this work with my mother to make sure this turkey is ready on time.

3. Me too. That's why I am here, with the Old English and dustrag

besides me, and Comet powdering the toilet bowl. I am letting the Comet "work" you see, and using my time wisely while it "works". Then I'll put some in the sinks and let that "work" for awhile, while I check back on DU. See? I've got a system (procrastinatory as it be) for everything. :hi:

Cuz I'm going to my moms house.

sorry to gloat. It is a pain to clean and then cook and then clean. Which is what I have had to do the past 4 years.

I am going to someone else's house for Thanksgiving. Thank God.

We had it here a few years ago and worked for 2 weeks getting ready. But we had such a good time that it was worth it.

When my husband is home from Wyoming in December I will have a party so I need to start cleaning NOW to get everything in order. My mood towards my house has not been good, ironic since I am not working and actually have the time to do things.

So, here I am checking DU and drinking a cup of coffee!

Lovely day for cleaning.. Ugh

I'm taking a break right now, in 10 minutes I get to scrub 1000 SQ feet of tile floor on my hands and knees because I haven' found anything else that gets them clean. Idiot who owned the house before us put glossy tile in the kitchen and Dining room and I haven' scraped the money together yet to replace it.
