Poll question: Favorite Mel Brooks flick.
Blazing Saddles is my favorite.

I only have 10 choices here so I left out "Robin Hood, Men in Tights", and "Dracula, Dead and Loving it".

Second choice: "The Producers".

And how cool of you to remember "The Twelve Chairs"!

11. Spaceballs was the first Mel Brooks movie I ever saw
History of the World Part I was the first movie I ever saw high.

And Blazing Saddles has probably the most laughs per minute of any film he's done.

So hard to choose.

13. 'To Be or Not to Be' wasn't a Mel Brooks film.
He was just an actor in it.

It was a remake of the 1942 classic.

30. Tie: "Blazing Saddles" & "The Producers"
"I'm wearing a cardboard belt!"

"My blue blanket! Give me my blue blanket!"

Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder were both hysterical in that.

And Madeline Kahn was my favorite in "BS" - "I'm so taahhrd!" She was awesome.

The line that always cracks me up without fail:

"What's the matter Colonel Sanders.....CHICKEN?"

Even when someone is just quoting it. I laughed just now typing it.

However, I gotta go with "Blazing Saddles" for the best one - it's a classic.

49. "Unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent"
Men in Tights was 50 times better than that POS Costner Robin Hood movie it made fun of. Cary Elwes is gorgeous and has fantastic comedic timing. Dave Chappelle was also hilarious in that movie.
