1. A turducken is a turkey....
Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 08:25 PM by Coventina
that has a duck stuffed inside which has a chicken stuffed inside of the duck. And I believe there is sausage stuffing inside the chicken as well.

I don't know what it tastes like.
I've never been tempted by the idea.

Edited for clarity.

13. Ewww de delicacy
Fixed fancy by a french quarter chef, it is a cosmic fall and winter holiday delight. Put a little oyster dressing on the side, a fine white wine and you have a dinner to be thankful for. There was a time when eating the contents of a chicken's egg was "ewww". Bon apetit. After the holidays we can dine on blackened shrimp fajitas.

5. My partner had chickens stuffed in a pig...
Haven't had turducken myself but my partner had these chickens that were stuffed in a whole pig (to help maintain the body shape after the innards were removed).

Said they were delicious.

14. Actually, it's a boneless turkey (sound a little like Herr Shrub)?
Stuffed with a boneless duck, the duck stuffed with a boneless chicken. Sometimes the chicken does have stuffing, other times it's left so that you can use your own.

And it's really very good! Leave it to those Southern folks to come up with this one!

All we far-north folks can do is steal Spongebob Squarepants......... check out this one from the Seattle PI:

SpongeBob kidnappers seek ransom for doll

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Have you seen this sponge? Police are looking for a blow-up figure of SpongeBob SquarePants swiped from a Minnesota Burger King. They've found a ransom note which starts off:
