I am back ONLINE!!!!!

I dog/pet sit for people over the holidays. Well, the house I am at now has a wireless network set up. I was online for approx. 30 minutes Saturday evening and the network went down. I have not been able to get online at the house since then. Well, until tonight it really was not an issue because I don't have a lot of time after work to surf.

I know NOTHING about a home network...NOTHING

I was NOT looking forward to a long weekend with NO access to the internets. So, tonight I got on the floor and just started unplugging cables and plugging them back in. There is a this box with Microsoft labeled on it. After I plugged it back in I guess it caused the network to reboot because now I can get on the internets!!!!

at work and I sneak a peak at the DU headlines and the NYT.

After work has been a nightmare! I don't watch a lot of television and even though the people I am house sitting for have cable I can find nothing to watch.

I was watching many DVDs!

Nothing like the Net!

They have no internets and no cable.

It hurts.

What on earth do you do when you go there?

If you have a laptop you can take it and get online via ddddiiaaal up....I know it's slow...painfully slow but at least it's the internets.

I used to have cable, which was great! Sure miss it!
