10. My former boyfriend used to tell me I had freaky feet, alluding to my toes
I wear sandals all the time and generally don't care so much, but occasionally I have wondered if it disgusts other people.

It's good to hear that others have the same thing and presumably it's relatively ordinary. Thank you!

6. That sounds rather cool
My toes are squared off, Flintstone style. I would rather have long, graceful feet.

11. My Daddy Told Me It Was
because I was born in PA!! But I like the "smarter than the average bear" comment!

Lived in PA for the first 3 years of life. I have NO Idea, but I loved my Daddy! My toes are almost fingers and I wear a size 7 shoe!

20. Well, I was born in Kentucky, so I question that theory
That's funny, all of my toes are very long too, comparatively speaking. I discovered this when I was changing out of my soccer equipment one day. A team member said that I could probably play piano with my feet.

17. Just be careful because...
people with Morton's toe are prone to stress fractures of the 2nd metatarsal. However if you never had feet trouble before, you are probably ok

15. Venus Toe
Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 10:47 PM by Mend
It is called the Venus Toe after the Venus de Milo statue (check out her right foot). It is considered a sign of great beauty....and I learned that in medical school.

18. If it's weird, then I'm weird, too.
My kid sister teases me about my toes whenever she sees them.

Rotten kid.

But then my feet are weird. I'm short (5'5) and a bit wide, whereas my feet are long and slender.

I figure there is a 6' tall woman somewhere with short stocky feet that belong to me.

21. My daughter has them. She is tall and slender with Barney Rubble feet.
We've called them that since she was a baby. They were truly "little hams with fringe". I got that out of the Girlfriend's Guide to Toddlers. :hi:

22. Hey CatWoman
That was some DIS-CUSSION you started today! I chimed in for you! Is it still going?

I'm sitting here in Florida, all alone on Thanksgiving Eve, protesting, boycotting and causing whatever mayhem I can and happy doing it!

I've always felt Thanksgiving was one of the last holidays that held some real meaning, but this year we as a family have decided NOT to play the game. I've been political for a VERY long time, but this is as BAD as it GETS! I cut my teeth with Viet Nam!

I don't think it's weird, but if you're a runner (and I am) it can give you no end of grief. Lots of stress fractures over the years here. x(

I've heard the smarter thing, and also that it's more common in Native Americans. Hey, who knows? My grandmother is Cherokee and hers are the same lol.
