Firefox question..help please

I have been using Firefox for a couple months and for the most part I love it. However, I have tried over and over to get my bookmarks or favorites alphabetized. I cannot seem to do it. I have downloaded about five extensions recommended on the Firefox forum but none have worked so far. Does anyone know how to fix this? Help! It just drives me crazy to see them all mixed up in no order whatsoever.

Put them in folders. That's what I did. I don't think you can alphabetize the sites, but you can alphabetize the folders.

God, I love Firefox!!!!

3. In manage bookmarks, did you check sort by name

and then choose ascending or descending order?

5. In Manage Bookmarks

they are alphabetized but I can get that to transfer over to the normal browser. :( They are in the exact order I want in Manage Bookmarks.

and just sorted my bookmarks by right clicking, and selecting 'Sort by name'

7. the one I have is .8, maybe that is the problem?

I've tried doing what you said, since that works in IE, but doesn't work for me in Firefox.

9. I'm still using version -.9.3 until all my favorite extensions are

ready for the new version. I seem to remember having the same problem with not being able to alphabetize the bookmarks in version .8. I could also see them organized correctly in the manage bookmarks area, but couldn't get any extension to work with it.

If you cannot find a fix, you can always export them to IE. Right click and arrange them there, and then re-import them into Firefox. I know it is not much help :(
