I'm going to bed now. Gotta drive the wife and Daughter to my parents. Not gonna risk their lives because I didn't get enough sleep.

4. I'm still awake, just got home from
work a bit ago, darned weather. It's like winter out here in Michigan.

So WHY is the day after thanksgiving such a popular shopping day here in the USA? .. I'm new here. Never seen the likes of it, well maybe. Similar to Boxing Day in Canada I think.

:)

to hit the sales. hating crowds as i do, no amount of money saving would bomb me into a store that day:scared:

14. Dawn;
the time when men of reason go to sleep.

I am nocturnal by nature, all the males in my family are. (we are also all packrats).

I am a firm believer in getting up at the crack of noon.

(actually I am waiting for the pie I just baked to be cool enough to put in the fridge)

15. Anything?
O.K. I want to start running my main computer (this one-a 2.4 gig , large laptop) on Linux. I am fairly competent on MS XP. I want to dual-boot, but XP is on my C-drive and I'm running a business program under XP that, if it ever crashes or gets hosed up, is not reloadable/recoverable. I'm willing to invest in whatever hard/software necessary (such as an outboard second hard drive and attendant software to do a mirror image dump to it and make it bootable-if I knew what to get) but I don't know what distro to get as well as what supportive software I need. Any suggestions?

22. I am , I am and its only 0352 here in NY
Of course I took a little nap from 7:30 to 12:30 am. I'm a insomniac and I work nights. Today is my day off. For some strange reason since 911 I mostly sleep in 4 hour blocks unless I'm medicated or drunk. I've opted now to have a few rum&cokes before daylight strikes and I have to crawl back into my bedstead.

23. Just finished watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer
- the movie - on FX. I have to get up in six hours to go to work, then we're having folks over for dinner. I always stay up way to late the night before I have to work. Thank God for coffee. And car heaters.

And can I just say? Buffy the movie? Not art, by any means, but fairly entertaining. Not as entertaining as the TV show, which I'm mildly obsessed with, but amusing nonetheless.
