Wow! Jack Burkheimer is still doing that Stargazer show
And he's saying this Thanksgiving week about 7 pm, facing west, high above horizon, we'll see three bright stars that make the (Deneb, Altair, and Vega) (the swan, the eagle, and the harp (which was previously a bird and before that a turtle).

when it was a bird it was a goose, an eagle, and an osprey, and wood something or other, and at one time, an eagle with a lyre in it's belly.

He also said the moon is a Beaver Moon, the full moon of November.

I remember watching him years ago. Good to know he's still around. I'll always remember that little penguin walk he did at the end of his shows, walking into the night sky.

2. I still remember that whistled version of a Debussy piece they used
as his theme song. That show used to come on my local PBS affiliate all the time.

3. It's Jack HORKheimer, and I have always loved him
anyone who shows that much enthusiasm for preaching the gospel of his discipline to the masses is a grade-A hero in my book. I wish we had some Jack Horkheimers in the historical community.

This St. Pauli Girl is for you, Jack! Keep looking up!
