1. Rip it down
He thinks he won, but really he will soon find out because of Bush he's the loser. Someday these fools have to wake up.

3. leave it so he has egg on his face
as things get worse.

OTOH, here the city has an ordinance stating they must be removed 10 days after the election. Turn his ass in if that's the case there too.

5. I have two neighbors who still have dubya signs on the lawn....
...
I am thinking of:

A. defacing them with spray-painted 'war criminal' signs.
or
B. putting my "Bush Must Go" sign back out on my lawn until theirs are gone.
or
C. putting my "Bush Must Go" sign out there permanently....

my spouse opposes even small acts of vandalism.
a few years back a friend and I went out in the dead of night to deface a neighbor's lawn jockey statue. She opposed the criminal act of defacing it but after negotiations, said it would be acceptable if we turned it into a white lawn jockey. We looked around for some white paint but couldn't find any in the garage. the closest we came was some very pale blue.
so we agreed that the lawn jockey would become a cold white lawn jockey.

15. Vandalism is still vandalism, no matter how small the act.
Put a sign in your own yard. Don't deface someone else's.

7. I haven't taken my Kerry bumpersticker off yet, and I don't intend to.
People are like "why"? I guess I don't really know, maybe it's because I don't want people to forget what we worked so hard for, maybe it's because I'm proud to show my loathing for the president, maybe it's because it my heart...I know Kerry won. It's not coming off, key my van, I'm not afraid.

8. In my state it is a prosecutable offense to deface of destroy
people signs. Besides you don't want anyone to take notice to something like that. They could make a big deal out of it. Best to leave it alone and leave it to the weather....

9. Just like all of those pointless 'Support OUR troops' signs.
A big-time repuke neighbor had a sign, but never bothered to reposition it, despite taking away their * sign. It's still there, half-hidden next to some shrubbery.

If they really do support OUR troops and the president, then why aren't they more vigilant about the troops sign?

(I think we all support OUR troops. It's the commanding officers that tell them what to do. The troops are compelled to do it.)

11. I have a We support out Troops sign
and I do support the. It's their commandant I don't support. The signs that read I support our troops and president are the ones I want to run down with the car

Let him enjoy his little sign. When a Democrat wins the presidency, keep your sign up just as long.

12. Mitch "The Bitch" Daniels left his sign up for 3 weeks along the hiway...
I Emailed his campaign and asked if they were gonna let the wind finish destroying it. It stayed up for 2 more weeks.

I think the snow fence crew took it down.

Paint balloons, paint balloons will fix it.
If you do have a 10-day ordinance, what's he gonna do?

14. Don't fuck with his property.
Find out if he has a teen and send a military recruiter to his house. Or, go get enlistment materials and bring it to him yourself, regardless if he has kids. Don't do some chicken shit thing like mess with his crappy Bush sign. Confront him face to face and tell him, " I noticed you are a Bush supporter. Do you support the troops? Okay then, why don't you enlist and GO HELP THEM!... NO EXCUSES!" Offer him a ride to the recruiter right then and there. If he backs off or makes excuses, then you can call him what he is - a coward.

20. They can take my Kerry sign...
...when they (Charleton Heston voice here) PRY IT FROM MY COLD. DEAD. HANDS!!!

And in all seriousness, I still have mine up, too, but mostly because I find it too depressing to take down, like one of those guys who wears his wedding rings five years after his wife dumped him.
