1. Oh, and those beer glasses should be glasses of port wine...
For me at least. Too many + 1, to be exact.

Be safe and have fun, guys and gals. I'm off to start simmering the tomato sauce...it's 6:00 AM, but, ya know, it takes 6 hours to simmer :D

3. When you say antipasta what do you mean
We call it an antipasta platter with:
Prosciutto, Salami,pepperoni slices
provolone and other cheeses
olives, green and black
pepperoconi
artichoke hearts
hearts of palm
dill and sweet pickles
crackers and flat bread
sometimes an eggplant caponata

5. Not Italian
Experience "Italian food" only at Pizza Hut or the Olive Garden--but I thought it was ante (before the) pasto rather than anti (against the) pasto. This is really important to me since I want to be authentic when I order even if the Italian food that I am ordering isn't

9. my first mother in law was first generation
Italian American and she always had manicotti with the turkey. Man she was a good cook, she made everything from scratch.

After my divorce I missed her more than my ex.

10. Italian Is Good, But...
You haven't lived until you go to a Mexican Thanksgiving, all the traditional stuff PLUS a wealth of Mexican dishes. If you find your self at one DO NOT let your plate become empty (or evan close) or it will be reloaded despite any protest about already being full

13. Mangia Bene! Come talk to my anglophile neighbor!
My neighbors and I do a lot of holidays together, but one always say "I kind of like the traditional holiday meal".

And by TRADITIONAL he means ENGLISH!
