Rock and roll Hall of Fame
I have never payed much attention to the inductees but I went over to their site and found 2 "jokes". Ricky Nelson was inducted before the Beatles and the Kinks were inducted very early. Ricky Nelson puhleez and the Kinks were a nice little band but they never made much of an impact on rock and I did see them and I do like them but puhleez. This outfit reminds me of the Grammys- a joke

4. Ricky Nelson
had a careeer long before the Beatles. He has written quite a few rock standards. I used to think he was a joke too until a friend turned me on to his body of work.

And the Kinks are awesome. Check them out before you knock their induction.

Hey was cute but hardly a pioneer. I gerw up with the Kinks and saw them in 1970. I have at least 5 of their albums and I like Waterloo sunset very much but they were still only a minor band during the sixties compared to some of the others.

Hardly. I am 53 years old and grew up in the sixties. I owned an original Yardbirds "Having a Rave up album. I certainly have a feel who was the biggest bands back then. The Kinks never had the impact of the Who. I saw them before the Opera at the Fillmore east. I went regularly to the Fillmore and saw Cream and Blind Faith at the Garden.

9. But c'mon...
...you like 'em, just admit it.

To each his own. Talk to a 63-year-old and ask him if he thinks Nelson deserves it.

10. The biggest joke is that Lloyd Price was only inducted a few years ago..
That's simply ridiculous.
