4. Blacks Beach in San Diego. Its legal too.
All that you have to do is walk down a steep cliffside in La Jolla and you get all the skin that you want to and dont want to see.
Volleyball is very popular there.

You need the element of danger to make it exciting.

5. moi
sorta. Snuck into the pool area of a local apt complex around midnight, and not having swimsuits handy, decided the hottub looked too good to pass up.

But since we weren't brave enough to frolick in the actual pool (much more lights, lol), I don't know if it counts as skinny dipping, per se. Maybe just general naughtiness? I'm pretty sure skinny dipping requires frolicking.

11. Today?
Nope, not today.

Seriously, who hasn't though? We used to skinny dip all the time as teenagers. And when I hit drinking age, we used to hang out till closing time at the bars then hit the river for some drunken skinny dipping. Amazing no one drowned.

Of course, I grew up in a rural area - most of the swimming places were in rivers and lakes rather than public pools or people's homes (I knew two people with swimming pools - one was the hillbilly neighbors who bought an above ground which they proceeded to trash like everything else they owned and the other was my aunt in Connecticut who I figured must be rich).

13. Snow bathing
Edited on Thu Nov-25-04 03:20 PM by ecoalex
How about snow bathing? In Vt 30 years ago, we would take a dry sauna, and when past the point of bearable, it was 150 degs in there, we would open the door, and dive in to deep snow, and roll around it it, clouds of steam would rise from the lobster red bodies flailing away in the deep cold whiteness. When cooled down we wou reenter the sauna and do it again. God did it make you feel ALIVE !

17. I haven't done that but I have
been in a sauna tee-pee by a glacier lake on the top of a mountain. We would heat rocks in a fire, toss them into a pit in the tepee and splash water on them. When we couldn't take the steam anymore we would jump in the glacier lake.

You can do it at a public beach in the daytime if you swim out far enough before you take eveything off.

29. My sense of adventure is lonely
I'm not big on adventuring by myself and most of my friends are - how to put this? Scared of John Law.

Which makes no sense to me. But maybe next summer I'll throw down the coverings and explore Lake Michigan properly.

Used to go out Lake Mead when I was a teen. It was still possible to avoid people back then as there weren't so dang many of 'em.

Today I have to rely on the local nudist/naturist resort and community for locale, dates, and times.

mind you... I think there should be a "Come to Work Nude Day" somewhere on the calender (on second thought, cancel that. Some of the people I work with I don't even want to see clothed).

Skinny dipping? A couple of times... at night. My main phobia is the "shrinkage" factor. Some things I'd rather not share.
