5. I cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES I've thought of the bush regime
Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 10:32 PM by calimary
in terms of the Harry Potter saga. I see so many parallels. Dolores Umbridge as ashcroft. And all the mentions of going over to the Dark Side - so applicable to so many people in politics nowadays.

And remember when Dumbledore "died" (the late Richard Harris, that is) - the same weekend that we lost Paul Wellstone? And the election results thereafter?

I think about it ALL THE TIME. I wish Ms. Rowling could write US a happy ending - as I'm hoping (and presuming) she will for Harry and his friends.

In fact, I remember a great bumper sticker I saw during the campaign: Republicans for Voldemort. LOVED it. Wanted one. Still do, in fact.

16. My niece and I were talking about this last night
I told her to remember that "Dumbledore" and Wellstone died the same day and since then the forces of darkness have been in control.

15. I've always thought that .
He is an oily, snivelling, obsequious, worm-tailed weakling who creeps around the more popular/powerful people, in order to make himself feel important by association. A futile task I might add.
