The end of hurricane season!

November 30th, technically.

I know you northern types are heading into messy weather, but I'm celebrating the end of this disasterous season. The weather here in my corner of Florida is great - I'm finally able to turn off the air and open the windows. And I can stop clicking on the tropical update page, at least until next season.

1. But the beginning of tornado season for us Mississippians.

Several ripped through the state night before last, killing one, and destroying numerous homes.
