It's 35 miles away. I dout there'd be a lot of people there anyway.

1. Not a lot of people there?
I wouldn't bother, but that's just me.

3. I live in the outer burbs, not gay friendly town. The gay friendly stuff is
in Minneapolis.

I do want to go out and actually live for once, but there seems no point tonight.

4. Aww, that's no fun!
Do you have to live there or is it by choice?

7. Close to work. My lease expires in 9 months.
Reposition myself closer to St Paul, I suppose.

9. What is the name of that gay bar in Minneapolis...
the Gay Nineties or something like that? Is it still there? I was there once about 25 years ago.

10. Actually, it's 'The Wilde Roast'... From my perspective on gay bars/cafe:
Gay90s sold out some time ago, I've gathered. Not to mention horrid parking. ($10 for anything even remotely close.) It's a shame as I know the reputation of old.

Trikx is also now a hetero bar with a gay partition. It's also a dump with crap parking and management fit to leave it as bland, which is probably why the gay clientele flew back to Neverland. :D

The Townhouse is cool and is the only bar I'll really go to these days. Though I hate parking on the street or in the adjacent car park, and the neighborhood it's in is also crime-heavy. (some state government offices are in the vicinity and, having worked with them several years back, know that they hate it - particularly during winter when it gets dark so early.)

Over the Rainbow is a sports bar. I'm not into sports. :-(

Club Metro doesn't exist anymore, but it was cool.

Brass Rail - bunch of old men who'll glare at me. :scared:

The Saloon - interesting place, but loud and unfriendly. I also have to park at a car park 2 blocks away. Every time I went to the Saloon, some thug/con artist tried to scam me for money and on one occasion tried to take my car.

'Wilde Roast' (http://www.wilderoastcafe.com/), while in Minneapolis, has its own car park and seems to be in a better part of town. It is gay-friendly, though not exclusively gay. A co-worker recommended to me before I asked her if she knew I was gay. (which was when she reminded me I told her several months ago! ) Having seen the pics, I love the decor of the place; it's reminiscent of my own apartment, though there is more patterning on the furniture (my decor is comparatively non-patterned, but still rich in a themed color.)

5. If you live in Arkansas, no way
they have no concept of how to clear roads of snow here, and the roads are slick and horribly dangerous in winter weather.

6. Yeah, get out of the house
You've been doing nothing but sitting around there all day. Oh, and picking your nose so much isn't healthy. You could damage something like that.
