6. Ah, that's a beautiful city
I've been there on many occasions. I'm a trucker. I got trailer worked on out there during the Columbine shootings. I was in the manager's office watching it happen on tv. We weren't ten miles away from it. I hope all my Denver brothers and sisters are staying warm out there. I'm sure that cold weather is heading our way.

5. I sooo miss the cold!
N CA is just damp and warm or damp and chilly. We have a cabin in Pagosa Springs we get to 3-4 times a year... I love the snow. I love SEASONS, you know, real ones.

PS, did you pick up a copy of this http://denvervoice.org/features/Nov_2004/who_is_the_denver_post.htm

9. I drove through ND 2 years ago
From MN. Fargo was interesting because I loved the movie. It was summer, August, if I remember correctly. The temp guage on my car got above 50 degrees twice, and for only scant minutes each time. The sky was steel. Tiny rolling hills were a constant.

I saw a policecar in my RV mirror, 6-7 cars behind us on the 2 lane 'highway' - lights flashing. The cars pulled over one by one - when it was my turn he pulled in behind me. He attempted to cite me for doing 60 in a 55. He had a record - breaking gut and small beady eyes.

The other cars were going the same exact speed I was. But - I had CA plates and an obvious TV in the car. I only argued for 3 minutes, then contacted our attorney. We did not have to pay the ticket.

GET OUT - there is a wonderful world out there!

11. Oh I've been out. I won't be here too much longer (hopefully.)
I hope you had fun while you were here though.

The polics are awesome in this state.

;)

oh and we hate weird-smelling Californians (and TV's!)

I'll take some of that. Around New Orleans, we've had two chilly nights so far this Autumn(below 45F).
On track to have our warmest November on record.

10. Cold Weather Equals Flu Season
The cold weather in the northern hemisphere signals the start of the flu season and this season the looming flu pandemic could be a significant factor. In Thailand the temperature is dropping along with H5N1 infected pigeons from the sky
