They were suing it to et the stormtroopers all hopped up.

There's a scene in a book about the Grateful Dead where they go to the German museum of drugs and Jerry Garcia is said to have seen a cocaine crystal the size of his head or somthing like that. The NAZIs had some pretty weird ideas about drugs.
