Poll question: Best kick-ass band of this century so far
Of this century means viable music put out this century, not necessarily that the band formed this centruy.

24. Not recently anway
At times they seem like a throwback to 1984 (the year) at other times they seem like a throwback to 1964, If I had to guess at their influences I would say - Early Beatles, early Kinks, Colourfield, a little Clash thrown in here and there etc...all good stuff.

I actually deleted Sum 41 for Jet, but I thought more people would know who Jet is.

Any band that sings, "Maiden and Priest were the gods that we praised " should have been on that list.

also, it is simply impossible to say someone has lousy music taste. i think radiohead fucking sucks. but some don't. we just have different musical tastes
