Banning Bibles? You haven't seen my platform...
When I get elected:

  • Ban golf, nationalize all golf course for cultivation of marijuana
  • Nudity is mandatory in Senate and House
  • Students must run the schools
  • Both football and baseball must be played using either frisbees or hackysacks
  • Birkenstocks designated as the national footwear
  • Neckties made illegal

3. Nudity in Senate and House????
my god, have you looked at those people? if justice wasn't blind before, she soon would be, even if she had to personally gouge her own eyes out.

9. Yeah, but...
...lying is difficult when one is nude.

It's true, though, C-Span might lose some viewers.

4. to add to that:
1. Everyone must wear exactly what THEY want to wear at all times. Sombrero? OK. Bunny ears on a headband? Sure! Yellow dress with lime green hat? Go for it. The ONLY stipulation is that it was what YOU wanted to wear.

2. ZERO corporate interest and/or control of the media.

3. FULL funding of public education made mandatory in Congress.

4. Military industrial complex scaled back dramatically.

5. Department of Peace, as per Kucinich.

6. No books banned, EVER.

7. Full rights for all GLBT citizens, effective immediately.

It's things like this that made me laugh when people claimed Kerry was a big flaming liberal.

By the way, your #1 is great.

16. If they are, then we need to treat them like people
Think about it: if a person polluted the air and/or the water the way some corporations do, wouldn't they be in violation of the law?

If a person blatantly ripped someone else off or caused them bodily harm, wouldn't that person be held responsible?

I love how they want corporations to be seen as people for financial breaks, but NOT to be held responsible for their actions the way PEOPLE actually are.

It's total fucking bullshit.

(In an ornery mood tonight.)

5. Ban the Bible?
Don't stop there. It's time to vote on God's job performance. Everything he creates dies.

8. I have no desire to ban the Bible.
Just a little warning sticker...
"Warning: literal belief in this book could cause you to drown your children, hack the arms off your neighbors, employ double standards in your relationships, cheat car mechanics, and deny the evidence before your eyes. Employ exteme caution."

11. You may wish to incorporate some of Jello Biafra's platform...
...from when he ran for Mayor of San Francisco in 1979. To wit:

1. Legalize squatting in buildings left abandoned for tax purposes.

2. Ban automobiles in every major U.S. city and replace them with Light Rail Transit.

3. Require businesspeople to wear clown suits between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

A few more:

13. From this day on, the official language of America
will be Swedish.

Silence!

In addition to that, all citizens will be required to change their underwear every half-hour.

Underwear will be worn on the outside so we can check.

Furthermore, all children under 16 years old are now... 16 years old!
