Has anyone here seen the movie Love Actually?
I saw it last year when it came out on dvd and it just premiered on HBO.

I love that movie, it makes me so happy.

That's all, I just think that it is a sweet movie that makes me smile and I recommend it to anyone that wants to watch a "feel good" movie.

On a side note I sure wish that Tony Blair were more like Hugh Grant's character, telling the US to shove it would rule and we can chalk that up to the things that will never happen in real life.

1. If you want a feel not so good movie
There's a long list but this one was missed by most - see Dirty Pretty Things, it's about illegal immigrants in London. Absolutely awesome and absolutely unheralded film.

2. Hugh's quitting acting... maybe he'll run for PM
After all, if Sheisspecker can be Gov of CA, why can't Hugh be PM?

It would be simply Divine... oops!

5. Flick is good for manly eye-candy.
And Colin Firth did have that one spectacular kiss. But overall, it was a pretty flimsy flick. imo.

7. Really with all the craptastic movies out these days
I thought it was great.

Funny, smart, occassionally sappy but in a good way, and oh yeah tons of hot guys saying things that make girls go weak in the knees, what's not to love?

6. I saw it about 6 or 7 months ago.
I was in a bad place and I cried for two hours after I saw it. I'm watching bits and pieces tonight and it's making me feel rather nice and inspired instead. It's amazing what a little time, perspective, important life changes, and the realization of it being "it wasn't just me" will do to a person. :D

8. What happened with Emma Thompson's husband?
I thought they kind of just let that drop flatly.

Are they still working on their marriage?
