I'm BAAACCKKK

Had a great time on the cruise -- although keeping up with my partner's family is like trying to participate in a disorganized and chaotic 3-ring circus :)

we didn't get a chance to try snorkeling -- time constraints and other "let's all go do 'x' together" prevented my partner and I from sneaking off to snorkel...

But I did win around $300 in the slot machines -- paid for all the stuff we bought and we even came home with some money!

Wednesday dinner was a celebration for my partner's aunt-uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. At Thursday's dinner we celebrated my partner's mom's 85th birthday.

We got home around 9-ish Friday night to find our old 19 year cat wheezing again. So Saturday morning was a rush to go pick up our dogs at the boarding kennel, get them home, grab the cat and race off to the vet. She's on another round of anti-biotics for a sinus infection.

I thought you meant "let's do time together", but then saw the tone of the rest of your post and realized this outing with the "in-laws" went great.

You have to understand that the sisters (my partner's mom and two sisters) are ages 85, 82 and 78... and they are a force to encounter...

Generally in the mornings - I like a little quiet time to drink my coffee, read a bit or whatever just as long as I have some time to wake up

On Tuesday morning, I found a "hidey-hole" spot on the sun/pool deck. Was listening to my cd player and reading a book.

One of my favorite "cuts" on the cd is the Ride of the Valkryies -- just as it came on --- the 3 sisters spotted me and made a bee-line for my spot...

It gave me a chuckle. I told my partner about it later, and from then on we referred to them as the Valkyries
