"UNBORN BABIES" pug moron on Meet the Press right now
debating Al Sharpton. I hate it when the pugs use this phrase. They never quit trying to get rid of Roe V. Wade.

1. Unborn is so moronic!
The "un" implies they were born and then were "UNborn" You can't "undo" something that hasn't been done.

26. I believe the true progressive position
is to protect life, not devalue or support killing it.

3. I saw this guy. He is a HUGE HYPOCRITE! Mr. Pro-Life supported
Bush in the Iraq war. He couldn't answer the question that Tim through at him as to why Massachusetts has the lowest divorce rate in the country and the bible belt states have the highest, along with why the highest viewing of Desperate Housewives is also in the bible belt states. All he could say is, "I hope the born again's aren't watching it." Truly Pathetic human being.:puke:

5. oops this same moron just used term "secular fundamentalists"
I love the way he is talking about liberals as extremists. The fundies just don't quit. Can you imagine if ten or twenty years ago this jerk would have been on a national talk show. This country is going downhill fast.

9. So what does he consider to be the secular bible?
Could it be the US Constitution? Actually, we should thank him for sending us a clue that the word "fundamentalist" has a negative connotation among his constituency.

8. Terms
They keep throwing out the world FETUS. Hello? This conjuures up the image of a fully formed, ready to be born, 8 or 9 month gestation. BUT they also consider blastoplasts, zygotes and embyros as UNBORN BABIES too. Ever see what a 3 day old empbyro looks like? BEARS NO RESEMBLENCE to ANYTHING. Of course, they don't want the public to know about that.

15. You're right
an embryo is NOT a baby. It certainly has the potential to become a baby, and under the right (healthy) conditions, it probably WILL become a baby. But at the time of a legal abortion, it is an embryo. It's not even medically classified as a fetus at that point.

16. It might be.
Some medical sources cite 8-10 weeks gestation as the point at which an embryo becomes a fetus; others say 12 weeks. I have always followed the 12-week guideline myself as to when an embryo becomes a fetus, but of course, I am not a medical professional.

24. why do you say this? I think the pugs are intending to overturn it
I think the pugs have taken a sharper turn to the right, even more so than 4 years ago. Remember, Bush thinks he has a mandate. I believe it is in their party platform too. Rehnquist will be out soon and they will put someone in more to their liking who will be the new champion for the preborn, the unborn.

is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function

so this guy's obviously a genius

17. Exactly.
Wait until that baby is born to a drug addicted mother who needs help getting clean and getting on her feet and supporting her children. Where will the strident "pro-lifers" be then? Complaining that the liberals want to take their money and give it to the lazy good-for-nothings on welfare.

how much he and others like him care about those unborn babies once they are born. And how much they care about Iraqi babies.

But I will take these pro-lifers seriously only if can they round up and convict the biggest abortionist known to exist....Mother Nature. She's been terminating early pregnancies since the beginning of time.
