I'm a nester.

I'll read the paper,eat,smoke,drink coffee,watch TV,take a nap,crochet a bit on the afghan I'm making for a grandchild,anything I want.

I love this kind of day----am I alone?

1. It depends on my mood
but I mostly like the dark, wet days too. I like to work with beads, light candles, curl up with a book (or sometimes even the laptop) and watch the weather blow by the window.

3. I love them in the
summer but winter is so dark much of the time that I don't like it this time of the year. We have been without good sunshine for over a week now and I am growing tired of it. To each his own. ENJOY!

13. Your post hit home------I was in my prime in the fifties----
and was telling my daughter about a year ago if I had it to do all over again I would head to Greenwich Village, sleep all day, stay out all night, smoke dope and Luckies, drink scotch, and listen to bad poetry and good jazz.

She laughed and said it sounded good to her!!!!!

6. Nope, me too!
I like days like that too, but when it's cold outside I would much rather see snow than rain! Now in the summer, I LOVE a good thunderstorm! Enjoy it! :)

12. Did you get the wind last night?
Here in the Santa Cruz mountains, it was howling and blowing - kept me awake much of the night. Pretty cool.

9. You're not alone - I love interesting weather
Especially thunderstorms which we rarely get here. I even enjoy being out in it - it makes me feel so invigorated and alive when the weather is trying to kill me.

if it really tries.

It has just been toying with you.

10. Oh, no - you're definitely not alone!
I'm a nester too. When it's a dark rainy, foggy, or snowy day, I love to snuggle in, put a fire in the fireplace, play with the kids, work on scrapbooks, read or write, watch a movie, and make a nice comfort food meal. It's also a great kind of day to put a loaf of fresh homemade bread in the oven.

11. I hate it
I drive for a living. If you have an accident there is a good chance you will be fired. I could really live without any rain or snow.

17. Me too!
Some of my friends think I'm crazy, but I love a good gray day; rain makes it even better. This started in my childhood (back during the Punic Wars) and persists to this day. We're starting to cloud up here, and I'm loving it. Rain and/or snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow...:bounce:

18. Nothing better
than to be snug, as the elements are raging. Howling weather is strangely comforting and stimulating when I've got a fire stoked and a good book or puzzle. Or making art, or making love. Good coffee and chocolate croissants and the Sunday NY Times, snowed in with a lover...keep your 40 virgins, that's paradise to me.

20. Love those days
I love the cloudy and cool rainy days.....here in Phoenix this is rare . Although the sky is blue right now, it is cool here, sitting at my computer wearing a sweatshirt, pj bottoms and heavy socks with my patio door open. Just soaking up the cool weather.

The forecast for Monday and Tuesday is rain, as the idiot pres. would say, "bring it on!"

Shortly I'll empty my dishwasher, and fill it with the dishes from my meal last night, then decide what I want to eat. I have a choice between fresh cod, rainbow trout fillets or canned tuna fish wirth a salad and another veggie. I do have some great bread too. Just can't decide what to eat.

How do you fix your cod or trout?
