The New Jersey Nets & Portland Trailblazers Should Be Barred From Ever
playing eachother again.

19 days ago they played a 64-60 stinkfest at the Meadowlands.

Now, in Portland, they're even worse. It's 18-18 with 5:37 left....

... IN THE SECOND QUARTER!

OY!

1. The Nets have an amazing ability to make teams play ugly
The Sonics struggled to play their game against them and Seattle is generally an execution machine.

New Jersey is really terrible.

7. the halftime highlight show is hilarious
usually they show all the spectacular plays of the first half.

But this game is so devoid of any good plays, let alone spectacular ones, the highlights are all mid-range jumpshots and dinky little putbacks.

Its like a high school game.

13. Whitsitt's legacy
is going to leave us screwed for years. Damon and DA are overpaid, Randolph is the perfect replacement for Sheed--talented, but will never be mature enough to lead the team--Telfair was a sketchy pick, Patterson's just sucking up cap space, Outlaw should be playing in Turkey and Woods is an idiot.

Although I'll say in Whitsitt's defense that at least we could depend on him bringing in fresh headcases every year. Nash is just sticking us with the same bozos.

Okay, this is horrible.

Nobody undershoots the Blazers...

Halftime FG %: Nets .281, Blazers .256

Blazers lead in rebounds 29-20, almost as many rebounds as points.

Can't anyone f*ckin SHOOT anymore?
