She's a combination of several of the above.

My wife is companion, lover, and boss of the household. She is my intellectual equal, though she would say she is superior, and I would have to agree. I earn more, but we both work very hard. She controls the finances, I have one credit card, but have to ask permission to use it. We split the household chores, but she does the lions share, I just cannot get the whole laundry thing down. I respect her and she tolerates me. A happy household.

Contrast this with the republican, fundamentalist christian household. The female job is to give birth, raise the children and remain subservient to the husband. No career, no intellectual stimulation, no expression beyond the institution of wife. Sounds very much like slavery. Got to go now, I have dishes to wash. :evilgrin:

I'm picky. But she'd be a confident and caring individual, polite and friendly.

Knowledgable about things politic and religious. Extremely open-minded in everyway, including the bedroom and the church. Likes Bob Dylan and old school rock.

But then comes the wrench: Even though she is liberal and open-minded, she herself is somewhat conservative in appearance, eschewing piercings and still shaving the areas ladies shave. But not a fan of make-up. I hate makeup.

I can argue with her on an intellectual level, she is responsible with money, she enjoys going outside and fishing and hunting and camping and getting dirty but still likes to be a girly girl sometimes.

Other physical aspects I shan't list here.

Overall, she'd be a Democrat, not a moron, and girl-next-door pretty.

Except brunette, probably. Can't seem to get attracted to blondes. But hell, I've been rejected by all kinds!

Maybe the artsy/bookish types.
