They're warm in the winter. I often wear them under trousers and trouser socks because my office has two HVAC settings, sauna and meat locker. Also, I think if you take the time to find the right color and fit they can be rather sexy. But it does take a lot of time to find the right ones, not too tight, but not so loose they bag in the knee and ankle.

Personally, I like slightly lighter in winter, slightly darker in summer. I also really like opaque in the winter (opaque are usually heavier gauge). I never go without unless I'm wearing a very casual dress/skirt and/or open toed shoes.

That are the exact, pale color of my legs. I would never wear anything that looks un-natural or darker or lighter.

8. I've never been able to find an exact color match
I've got a chronic illness that occasionally requires meds that change the color of my skin slightly - some make me tan under florescent lights, some decrease the blood flow to my skin, making me paler. I do the best I can.

I love silk. But I'm always snagging my stockings on anything, my car, desk, doorways, invisible obstacles. I only wear silk for very special occasions.

10. Hate them, when i had a real job i had to wear them everyday
there is nothing worse then having a pair of conrol tops on when it's the summer and you have cramps. Never again!!!!!

I'm even more grossed out by seeing bare legs with a dress suit (summer dresses and sandals obviously don't call for nylons), and BEYOND grossed out seeing someone wearing pumps with no stockings. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

22. I really don't care much for pantyhose.
When I wear them, I either try to find a shade as close to my skin tone as possible, or I wear black if the outfit warrants it.

I do like to wear opaque, textured tights in the winter with skirts and boots.
