The President of my Alma Matter finally retiring...after 35 years
The President of American International College in Springfield, Mass, is finally retiring:

Personally, I always thought they'd take him out feet first out of his office. He's been at AIC since 1946, first as a professor, then as a President starting in 1969.

Supposedly, he's one of the longest (if not thee longest) serving college presidents in the country.

1. Uh, that IS a long time!
Damn, he's got some longevity.

Was he any good, though?

2. His main thing was our college never had any debt
Everything that was built, acquired, was done from alumni donations, fund raising, and such...he was good in the years I was there, and I got to work with him because I was a Treasurer of Student Gov't...but he has lost his wife a few years back, has had a stroke, and is over 80, so it's time.....none of us just thought he'd really do it
