1. Sounds like a nightmare

A couple of nights ago I dreamed that killer bees were unleashed on the white house and one got lodged up shrub's ass. Mama shrub was horrified and trying to help him. Totally weird.

Mine was much tamer, though weird.

This big-ass scorpion stung me on the top of my foot, I was barefoot in the desert. Then I woke up and thought "Hey, where's MrScorpio been?"

It was a good ten minutes before I remembered he's MrScorpio and not MrScorpion. So weird.

Ed Asner has been doing commercials for one of our local "news" teams! It is nauseating, since he is an actor who played a journalist on TV, and not a journalist.

4. Nah, old Bristleback is on the side of the angels. Let 'em earn his bread.

Asner's earned mucho brownie points with me for taking on the Reagan administration during the Contra fiasco. He paid the price with his career, lost a hit TV show because he was too controversial in his life as a citizen. If he pulls down a bit of retirement money now pitching as innocuous a product as a local TV news team, I say let him go for it. Some of his endorsement moneys will work their way into Democratic and progressive causes anyhoo.
