Finally, Hollywood wakes up!

Godzilla Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Monday November 29 9:02 PM ET

Fifty years after he first lumbered from the sea to breathe fire, trample cities and thrill generations of filmgoers, Japan's most famous movie monster, Godzilla, was honored on Monday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

2. Obviously you are discounting Godzilla's impact on modern cinema.

Godzilla was the first to explore the important issue of...well...enormous lizards destroying cities.
