7. LOL...I have 3 kitties, and they're crazy enough without the nip!
They chase each other all over the house at high speeds for no reason, then it just stops.

It must be nice have 3. 2 is the minimum I will have but I just can't afford the cost of any more.

Mine had a scratching post with catnip inside...they had the thing in shreds in no time...and they REALLY loved it!

5. It is the coolest thing to watch a cat go nuts
over catnip! It's like watching them have a flat-out orgasm in public. Makes me smile just thinking of it.

15. It's genetic - neuroreceptors are there or they're not
About half of all kitties couldn't care less about the herb; the other half go nuts for about 15 minutes per, um, hit. The kabonk factor around these parts when all 5 cats get fresh 'nip baggies is intense. :)

I should mention that 4 of the 5 are related. It's not a statistical anomaly or anything.

8. not enough. i grow my own for the darlings.
they're shameless about it when they're outside. they walk right up to the plant and start chewing. I just have to keep them from plopping down, sitting, rolling in it.

but the love the little rabbit fur mice!

One of my cats is totally addicted to those little red or green rabbit foot things that you get in vending machines.

Oh yeah and Mardi Gras beads, go figure

16. One of mine has a thing for the little strip of plastic that you tear
off the pre-shredded cheese packages. I have found them stashed allover the place, covered with little claw pricks and tooth marks.LOL

I gave him an old rolled up sock today and he killed it for an hour.

21. I once had a maintenance man steal a bag o' nip from my apt.
Put it in a baggie and had it laying out on the coffee table. He was in my apartment to fix my A/C while I was at work and I noticed it missing when I came home that day. I would burst out laughing every time I saw him around the complex.
