Poll question: Do You Wear Sunglasses?
I have to.

My friends make fun of me, saying that I'm just trying to "look cool", but I hate the bright light! GAH!

Sorry for the rant.

11. My meds combo makes me 'light-sensitive', so yes
The combination of Effexor and lithium makes me really light-sensitive for some reason. In fact, I had to stop using my lightbox for my Seasonal Affective Disorder because it was wigging me out too much.

But they are prescription sunglasses because I'm damn near blind without them. :P

It doesn't even have to be sunny, it just has to be daytime. Not at night, though. I'm not Corey Hart, no matter what ANYBODY says!!

17. better for the health of your eyes to wear them, also if they are
large enough, block some sun from the delicate skin around your eyes, which keeps you looking younger longer.

Plus,you don't squint either

23. My irises are marine blue
People with light-colored eyes really ought to wear sunglasses. It protects your eyes.

So yes, I wear them. Some vanity is involved too. Not squinting slows down the development of crow's feet.

27. Do you wear them at night?
Because if you're wearing to block the sun, then they have an actual function. It's good to protect your eyes from the rays, especially if you wear contacts.

Besides, they do look cool!

28. I wear those orange lens sunglasses (day & night & in rain & in snow)
They keep the bright sun from triggering migraines, they make headlights easier to deal with at night, and they keep snow and rain out of my eyes.

30. ALWAYS!
Just like you, my friends make fun of me because I'm forever forgetting to take them off indoors. So, they'll say things like, "Too bright in here for ya, Kath?"

I have terribly sensitive eyes, and anytime I go outdoors, unless its full dark out, I have sunglasses on.

31. If I put in my contacts, I have to wear them.
My eyes get really sensitive to the sun when I'm wearing the contacts. I wish I had about $3K to drop on the laser surgery.
