3. didn't learn anything new about Kerry during campaign that was
not visible in primaries. Kerry lost and suffered the blows exactly as we predicted he would.

16. does not matter he let us down when he conceded even before
the vote was in. i no longer trust kerry. till now i gave him the benfit of the dought becaous of the letter from his brother but we are fighting a much harder batlle because kerry took the easy way out and left us holding the bag. as of today i am through with kerry. if we should win by some miricle i would say kerry is the better of two evils but i will look for someone else to put my faith in

4. what is the purpose?
I supported Dean and if he hadn't dropped out I would have continued to support Dean. But once Kerry was nominated I worked for him. That's the way it works in politics.

7. You're assuming that I was "with" Dean.
Or that the majority of Kerry voters during the primaries were transfigured former Dean supporters, which isn't the case.

And no, I wouldn't support Dean now, knowing all we know now about Kerry.

12. I still love Dean...
Hell, I don't see how you can't, but I just think he's more effective behind the scenes and in an activist-type roll. Rallying the troops, as it were. :hi:

You can't say that guy DIDN'T show passion ... which is what we could have used more of in our candidate.

11. How did this thread make it to the Lounge?
Seems out of place. Either way, I would have voted for Kerry, or whoever the nominee was.

I was solidly behind Kucinich until the convention was over. But after that, I was pure "Kerry/Edwards '04 -- THEY SUCK LESS!"

...a Kerry supporter during the primaries, and a Kerry volunteer in the fall. I met Dean and liked him, but I remain a Kerry loyalist.

Think about it, what was wrong with that "scream"? Not a damn thing, that's what.

On edit: And this from a Clark supporter. A once and future Clark supporter.
