Will this year's Super Bowl champion hail from the AFC or NFC?

everyone is so busy laughing the NFC off that they are going to be mighty surprised when that game clock hits zero

Patriots,colts,or steelers. Even though i hate all three theyre still the best teams in the league

I know a lot of people really like watching this stuff, but it's all a macho pissing contest to me. When I was younger I used to watch it once in a while, but as I got older my priorities changed. I really couldn't give a rat's ass who 'wins' the 'big game' now.

If you don't care, then leave people who do enjoy football games alone. Don't bring your negativity.

Although I'll probably still watch halftime and the last two quarters of the game. (Depending on who is playing and whether it is blow-out or not.)

Say what you want about The Steelers, Packers and Eagles but New England may not lose another game this season.

The ONLY NFC team capable of winning a Super Bowl is Philly. There are at least three capable in the AFC.

Any AFC team will be tired. Plus, the Eagles are better to begin with.

The other side of that coin is the team that has gone through the most adversity is better equipped to handle it when it's nut cuttin time. There is no team in the NFL that fits that bill more than the Patriots.

Philly is a nice team and I love McNabb. But they have demonstrated nothing in the playoffs, particularly in the three NFC championship games they have lost, thus far in the Andy Reid era to suggest they can win a Super Bowl. There's always a first time, but until then, they have to prove it. I'm sure McNabb and Co. would agree wholeheartedly with that.

On edit: The Eagles are perilously thin along their defensive line thanks to injuries, which also dents your "more tired" theory.

The AFC is much better as a whole. New England, Pittsburgh, and Indianapolis all could win the Super Bowl.
