3. I believe the proper acronym is
FUBAR. Which stands for something I won't repeat in mixed company. The recent popularity of the obvious distortion "foobar" has caused me considerable concern. This change should not be used as proof of evolution. There has to be an intelligence that provided the new information.

4. Worry not
FUBAR still means what it means, and "foobar" does not, although it is pronounced the same.

Foobar is popular amongst hackers, "foo" and "bar" being the first two metasyntactic variables. (If you need an arbitrary name for anything, it's called foo. The second thing is called bar, then baz, quz, quuz, etc.)
