Many years ago
I worked at a book bindery. I was maybe 18. I took a book (The Brethren about the Supreme Court, as a matter of fact) and gave it to my dad for Christmas. Felt very guilty about it. I think that's the only time. I'm too damn honest.

5. I did that!
My company was giving expensive coffee table books to clients and others as Christmas gifts, and I helped myself to some to give to my mother.

9. An M-41 gas mask
I practically spent days in the thing, so I thought I earned it. They were going to trash it, anyways...I just saved it from destruction.

I just can't afford to bring new ones every day, and don't know where I would put them all, anyway.

22. I took a bunch of CDs home.
I worked for a radio station and was the music director there. I had a TON of CDs cross my desk every week. Some songs we added, some not. I helped myself to many of the CDs that were duplicates, songs or artists we chose not to play, and some that were dropped. Of course, management knew I did this and had no problem with it.
