Personally, it's for me to go grab the camera and start a'shootin'...

But, really, the siren is coming due 8 miles east of home, in Somerset WI.

Severe thunderstorm warning, but I don't see anything siren-worthy. :-( :-) (it depends on your point of view; tornados are brill to look at but are just a tad too destructive for my tastes.)

Hmmm, tornadoes are like republicans: (usually) pretty to look at, but leave a trail of devestaion and tears in its wake. (surely that deserves a rating of 3? LOL!! )

Be careful

They say that the tornado is developing over Sleepy Eye.

And also near Forrest Lake...

3. Thanks!
Sadly, the sirens quit about 5 minutes after I got the camera packed.

Oh cabbages... :-( Forest Lake is something like 40 miles north of me anyway.

Still, hopefully the worst aspect of storms, damage and harm, was minimal. Won't know until 10.

2. I grab the camera
I was a crazy storm chaser when I used to live in Kansas City, the best tornado city in the US. Not nearly as much action in Colorado.

4. Love your last line Thermo, wish I'd thought of it
Forget the camera, head for the basement when the sirens go off. We can't afford to lose any liberals.

5. Mankato was hit pretty hard tonite...
I'm in St. Louis Park, and we only got heavy rain over here. Which sucked anyway, cause I was running errands when that happened...
