My son just went out on the back porch to rescue a skirt I had hanging on the clothesline and came back drenched. (Sometimes he surprises me with a nice gesture. :) )
I only noticed it because I went out to the car to get the manual for my son's new car seat and little flakes were blowing around under the porchlight. It reminded me of the ashes blowing around a couple months ago during those fires, actually.
in case the power goes out. It's raining and the wind is doing some wicked gusting.
The branches of the neighbor's giant willow tree are slapping at my window. One of my kitties is sitting on the printer watching the festivities through the window.
8. My son in Concord had to go out and rescue his decorations
He and his wife have large hand-blown glass ornaments in their trees.. I told him it would be easier toi go out with a flashlight and get them now..or he'll be picking up glass forever..
