So what happened on CSI
Edited on Thu Dec-09-04 09:09 PM by anti_shrub
I missed the last week or two (who the hell puts a first-run episode on Thanksgiving) so what happened that the team is broken up?

3. Ok...
IF I remember correctly...During a trial, it was discovered that the team had fucked up some of the evidence, and the dick day-shift supervisor launched an investigation into it. The investigation proved that it was all good and they had really done nothing wrong, but the dick supervisor said that the issue was indicative of problems with the team, so he split them up. :(

4. Sigh. Somebody died a horrible death.
Then they talked about how horrible the inhumanity of the crime was, all the while showing lots and lots of gore to the viewers. Then they had a bunch of really bad science dressed up as cool science and really bad dialogue that went something like:

Forensic expert 1: "Aha! Ridiculously wordy explanation for a fairly trivial observation."

Junior forensic expert 2: "You mean?"

Forensic expert 1: "Basically random words from a technical dictionary that most viewers won't understand but think sounds cool thrown together to form a sentence."

Junior forensic expert 2: "A bunch more technical words that mean something that could be explained much more easily."

Forensic expert 1 and junior forensic expert 2: "The Common Cold!"

Then they solved the crime and everybody was happy.
