There's a lot of in-jokes and references that people who don't watch just about any animated show just won't find funny.

Personally, I thought the episode where Ling-ling was being licked for the drug high to be totally inspired.

Almost everything they did with Ling-ling (especially the Scientology jokes) had me in stiches. I always suspected those little pokemon creatures were evil.
