4. If it wasn't, I'd be a widow.
From what my spouse's coworkers claim.

Ease off, man. Back down. Take a deep breath. Some people are their own worst punishment.

9. A BEE-ITCH IS A DAWG, NOT A WOE-MAN! (that's a movie quote....)
Swoozie Kurtz in "The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom."

Swoozie was fantastic. So was Holly Hunter.

It wards off evil spirits.

I had the MOAB (mother of all bitches) as my boss (Broker-in-Charge) for two and a half years at my former company (i'm in real estate) who did everything in her bitchy power to force me to leave. I had the nerve to buy my own toll free number service so she couldn't pick off my phone calls and feed them to other realtors in my office, and I wouldn't share my database of homeowners with her because they were up-to-date and far superior to the county tax rolls.

Anyway, she was a 'C' word with a capital 'C.' I had to stick around for two and a half years under that woman's scorn until a commercial transaction was finalized and all monies were paid. Had I have walked, she would have kept all of my commission (a sizeable amount, I brokered the deal on an oceanfront condo building). Penny wise and pound foolish, she'd charge for every copy, fax, piece of stationary, postage and phone call you made, so I decided I could do it cheaper, and did it all myself. I created a mini-office within her office, and that insensed her to no end.

Anyway, she hated any realtor that she couldn't personally make or break and had an ego like none i've ever seen. I've never met a more controlling person in my life, nor worked for someone with no business management skills whatsoever. She had a high school diploma and married into money (now divorced), and considered herself a town socialite. She would get into screaming matches with her own office staff, talk about realtors behind their backs at sales meetings, just a generally pathetic and mean person.

I walked out of her company and took the #1 sales team in TWO states (our region, the Carolinas) with me, to one of her competitors. She never once tried to convince me to stay with her company, and let me and my office staff walk right out the door.

I'm so glad. I've turned her #1 sales office into the #4 sales office by me leaving, and my new office into the #1 sales office in both carolinas for the past two years.

It's so nice to have a broker in charge that actually asks you what he can to to make you more successful.

I was with Fred Sands in Los Angeles when Jon Douglas started up and looted some of Fred's best agents. Legendary.
