Maybe its a little arrogant to put myself in God's shoes, but if I were him I would be really annoyed with all these needy-ass "Christians" who feel the need to bug me 24-7.
I was thinking about this yesterday and I came to the conclusion that some people waste an awful lot of time talking to and about God when they could be doing something constructive. On the other hand, "something constructive" from the real hardcore muffinheads would probably do more harm than good.

And here I am wasting my time talking about god.... dammit!!

1. Actually when The Buddha was enlightened he didn't think anyone would
believe it/or could believe it and was going to just dissolve into Nirvana.. but the God Brahman came to him and begged and pleaded for him to take his discovery to the people so they would leave him alone.

Brahman said that every time a child got sick or some one died they blamed him for not caring, he said maybe if the Buddha taught the people the "Nature" of things they would leave him alone... that is a paraphrase..

4. I wouldn't characterize it like that
But my answer is: it was an expression of love.
