mmmmm, who wants a late night snack?

I call it "merry Christ Mas!"

It's some whole wheat bread toasted, covered in Winnipeg deli style cream cheese then dotted with Tobiko roe (Japanese sushi caviar), coriander chutney and drizzled with tamarind sauce. Lumpfish roe will work just as well.

This seasonally festive violation of protocol is such a dichotomy, it probably breaks a few Geneva conventions. It looks so pedestrian, like something sweet your aunt who lives in the trailer park would make for breakfast the day after Christmas but nuh uh. The flavor like a wolf in sheeps clothing is so deceiving and much more sophisticated, even Allah could get on board with this one.
